The actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt has an artist's collaborative site (HitRecord.org) that I have been involved with since September of 2011. Several pieces of mine were included in the "Little Red Riding Hood Redux" book that was published by the site, and some of my images were included in an animated short that appeared on the HitRECord on TV show.
Although my current work is almost exclusively done digitally, I'm very familiar with traditional mediums such as pencil, watercolor, oil, acrylic, pen and ink, etc.
I was becoming adept with the airbrush also, but my mac has long since made it obsolete. Some of the biggest selling items I've designed include a teapot styled like the head of Mickey Mouse (for Copco) and a desktop fountain styled after a Thomas Kinkade painting (for Avon).
Two ceramic trivets that I designed (one tomato and one pepper) can be seen in the background in kitchen scenes on "Everybody Loves Raymond"
I've illustrated 2 books using traditional pen & ink technique. One young-adult fiction ("Code Name: Clone"). and one instructional (a book on how to butcher meat).
I've done cross-section medical illustrations of breast abnormalities, designed chronographic watch faces and a baby gecko Christmas ornament... all in one day.
George Lucas once referred to an R2D2 cookie jar that I designed as his favorite licensed product.
My first freelance assignment was to create x-rated versions of E.H.Shepard's Winnie-the-Pooh drawings for a t-shirt company.
